In order to change habits and get into a routine, you have to focus on being persistent and not letting excuses get in the way of your personal goals. A good place to start is by planning a work out schedule and keep a food journal.

Learn lifestyle habits
that promote health
for an active quality
of life.
Week three proved to have it's challenges
as reality sets in for the participants with
getting used to routine exercise and keeping
food journals. Heather lead the group this
week in Jeff Greenstein's absence. Jeff has
given the group guidance with an exercise
routine in which they can continue on with
even after The Health Challenge ends. Jeff
has been a great motivator to the group
during the exercise meets, motivation is key
to the success of the participants personal
health goals.
"Meeting with Marilyn Trownsell, RD,
has really opened my eyes to the many
other choices I have when it comes to
meal selections. My struggle is with
portion sizes, if it tastes good, it seems I
always want more.
I feel like have an angel on one
shoulder whispering "More vegetables,
less fast food", and a devil on the other
shoulder screaming "have a banana-
chocolate-peanut butter milkshake
XXXL....Its a matter of choice, do I really
want to choose to pack on more
weight???
