Out with the old and in
with the new...

As another year comes to an end, it
is important to stop and take a
moment to evaluate where we have
been and where we are going.
Reflections of what worked and
what failed will fuel a new or
continued path.  Appreciate your
friends and family.  Cherish the
memories you hold dear, new and
old.  Even though time seems to
slip away so quickly, be sure the
history you create for yourself is
worth it's time.
Peace.
Stay well.

"Pretty tough question. Had a lot
of good things happen this year.
Probably would say my best
achievement was managing to
complete every album on or
under budget! Was really thrilled
with the level of artists I got to
be involved with this year (Andi
Rae Healy, Alex Sweeton,
Allison Cornell)."

Gift cards are expected to be
the most popular gift of the
holiday season.  According to
an American Express poll, they
predict that 66% of American
shoppers will purchase gift
cards.
What was the best holiday
present you ever received? ?
"The best present I received ever
was waking up with my Mom being
there for Christmas. I now realize
that, since she passed away 3
years ago. I miss you Mom. The
holidays just aren't the same.

My New Years Resolution for 2007
is to stay focused and get healthy.
Every year I say I'm gonna lose
weight, but it never happens :), so
I'm gonna work at being more
healthy like the food choices I make
and get more exercise.

The most interesting resolution I
made was to stop looking for love
and let it find me.....Did it work? I
guess not cause I'm still single :)  "

Most people make more
resolutions to start a new habit,
than to break an old one.
What is the most
interesting/strange /craziest
resolution you have chosen and
did you succeed at that goal??
The ten most common New Years
resolutions:
*
Spend More Time with Family & Friends
*
Start an exercise routine
*
Loose weight
*
Quit smoking
*
Quit drinking
*
Get out of debt
*
Try  something new
*
Become a volunteer
*
Get organized
*
Make more money
*
" The most interesting new year's
resolution I ever did isn't really
strange or crazy....

It became a system rather. I put my
self in a situation that alientated me
from my friends and family. I did not
touch a guitar for 3 years and I all
but stopped backpacking - my first
love next to the guitar. After
realizing that I had lost so much of
who I was over this 3-year period I
decided to make a list on New
Year's Eve a few years ago. I called
it my "List of 10." On this list were
things that were easily achieveable,
but things that I stopped doing. My
list was pretty simple.

1. Give a classical guitar recital
2. Do a gig with a band
3. Run a 10K
4. Donate 10 hours to a community
service organization.
5. Meet 5 new unique people (they
cannot have a relationship with any
of the others)
6. Leave the country.
7. Hike the Maryland Challenge
(cross the state of MD on the
Appalachian Trail in under 24
hours. Total mileage = 45 miles)
8. Go backpacking 3 times
9. Backpack over 100 miles
10. Get in touch with my buddy
Henley from college.

I completed them all and was a
great deal more satisfied. I've done
a List of 10 ever since.  "

What has been the most
successful  new years resolution
you have chosen?
"   In 1963 when my oldest son was
born, I had been trying to quit
smoking for several months.  After
he came home from the hospital, I
tried harder but would occasionally
succumb to the nasty habit.  On
new year’s eve (end of 1963) I
resolved to definitely and finally quit
smoking.  It worked!  I have not
smoked cigarettes since then. "

What was your favorite Holiday
special to watch on TV when
you were a kid??
"  A Christmas Story, Charlie
Brown, Frosty, Rudolph, Grinch..
etc)  We did not have TV in the
1930’s.  I was 20 years old before I
saw televiision for the first time.  On
a six inch screen.  Big stuff!"
-John Counts
What was the best present you
ever received??
" In 1966, my youngest son was
born December 27th.  I called him
my Christmas present because I
could add him as another
dependent on my income
tax return. "
